Note:   This is a retreat, and it does not supply TV or phones.  There are television sets and movies, awesome views, walking areas, beautiful community room for meeting new friends, hot tub in many suites, wildlife, many varieties of plants and trees.

 

You will love the pristine grounds, the immaculate and well decorated suites, the outdoor activities. 

 

      Remember when you were a kid and you went on retreat in the summer?   Well this remarkable retreat is just that, a retreat, but for adults.  It does not offer television or phones, but encourages you instead to enjoy the wonderful grounds, the wildlife, the water, the attention to detail.    Instead of sitting in front of the television set, come out to the huge deck overlooking the famous Rogue River.  Lounge in the community room, write the novel you have always wanted to write.  Dream about the famous writers who sat in this very spot and created time-tested books that we still love today.     During the day  you might enjoy one of the fishing boat guides to spend all day on the water, or drive the 2 miles to the beach.  Evenings enjoy the sunset from the grounds,  then soak in the hot tub (most suites), and relax in the private garden of your suite.    Finally in the evening watch movies in your suite or read that book you have been meaning to read all year.   This is a retreat, and your comfort was in mind when the historic lodge was re-created into this lovely retreat on the water.
